178: New Year

We are

driving through the hills of Georgia

dreaming about owning an A-frame

and what we might name our kids one day

and if we can cook our way through an entire cookbook

and wondering if we can avoid fast fashion

and picking out herbs for the window sill planter

and researching financial advice as we research hot toddy recipes

and I must admit-

daydreaming our way into the new year

is one of my favorite kinds of prayer.
