190: On My Way

I’m on my way

I’m catching a cab

I’m en route

to my favorite book store

to the French bakery

to the corner where we meet

to holidays at home

to candlelit date nights

to that summer in the mountains

to an answer to your question

to a more centered me

to whatever it is

I’m meant to do

I’m bringing Pad Thai

I’m bringing flowers

I’m bringing some tension in my jaw

and a hell of a lot of questions

but I’m on my way

and I’m coming to you

so please,

keep the light on

I’m almost there
