opening up!

That’s what I say to the flowers.

You did such a good job

looking up,

turning towards the sun,

sharing your center.


Did it hurt?

I say to the flowers.

Did you know it was time?

Did you know you were ready?


You’d be amazed,

I say to the flowers,

how hard that is

for us.

You’d be amazed,

how often we stay closed.
